Maria Minieri, 81 of Somerville, died Sunday after a brief illness.
Born in Gaeta, Italy, she lived in Somerville since 1968 and was the daughter of the late Nunzitina (Ciaramaglia) and Giuseppi Tallini.
Maria was a Housekeeper, at Somerville Hospital for 30 years and retired in 2006.
Beloved wife of the late Lorenzo Minieri. Devoted mother of Erasamo and Joseph Minieri both of Somerville, Maria Minieri-Ferullo of Medford. Loving grandmother of Lora and Rico.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday at 9 AM followed by a Blessing in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Wednesday 5 thru 9.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
A Pro Burial mass will be celebrated on Wednesday April 11, at 10 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be sent in Maria’s name to The Salvation Army, 147 Berkley St., Boston, MA 02116.
