Obituary

Fannie Sandifer Lynch Woods ,age 91, died April 1, 2007 in the Yalobusha County Nursing Home. The daughter of the late Alexander Lomax Sandifer and Lu Vicy Clark Sandifer she was born in Simpson County, MS. Mrs. Woods was a member of First Christian Church of Water Valley.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening, April 5, 2007 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks on Friday, April 6, 2007 at 11:00 AM with Brother David Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery with Alex McCoy, David Storie, Bobby Headrick, Toby Storie and Travis Hughes serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Woods is survived by three daughters; Lillie Lue Grogan of Broomfield, Colorado, Mary Storie of Thornton, Colorado and Pansy Saxton of Water Valley, Mississippi; one brother, Cecil Nelson Sandifer of Mendenhall, Mississippi; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Dewitt Lynch (6/3/1982) and Morris Woods (12/06/2001).
