Eva M. Bureau
Manchester-Eva M. (Heroux) Bureau, 102, died March 31, 2007 at the Mt. Carmel Nursing Home after a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester on February 21, 1905 the daughter of Napoleon and Adelina (Lavertu) Heroux and had been a long time resident of Manchester and Hooksett.
She had worked at McElwain Shoe, Salvage Shoe, Elliot Hospital and Rays Lunch.
She had been a communicant of St. Anthony and St. Theresa Church. She was the holder of the Hooksett Boston Post Cane.
She was predeceased by her husband Armand S. Bureau and 10 brothers and sisters.
Members of her family include 3 sons, George Bureau of Hooksett, Normand Bureau of Texas and Raymond Bureau of Manchester, Two daughters Eliane Eno of Hooksett and Priscilla Bureau of Franconia. Eight grandchildren, 16 greatgrandchildren and 6 greatgreatgrandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours.
SERVICES:A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 am in the Chapel at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home.
Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the NH Association of the Blind, 25 Walker St., Concord, NH 03301 or to one’s favorite charity.
