Hermano P. DePina, Jr., 55, of New Bedford died March 28, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Stella (Barboza) DePina and the late Hermano A. DePina, he lived in New Bedford all his life.
He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church.
Mr. DePina was a self-employed carpenter.
He enjoyed playing pool and was an avid New York Yankees fan.
Survivors include his mother; his fiancée, Sherry Valliere of New Bedford; a daughter, Deanna Ray and her husband Camanche, of New Bedford; a son, Paul DePina and his wife Felicia of North Carolina; a brother, Robert DePina and his fiancée Lisa Araujo, of New Bedford; a sister, Hazel Britto and her husband Alan, of New Bedford; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late Hermano DePina Vieira and brother of the late Stanley Pina.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 2nd at 9 AM in Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours are omitted.
