
Mrs. Esther A. (Gallo) Pisani 90 of 62 Arlington Street, Franklin, died Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at her home, following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Domenic R. Pisani, who died in 1978.
Born in Franklin, April 22, 1916 a daughter of the late Vito and Annunziata (DiRosario) she was a lifelong town resident.
She was educated in local schools, and until her retirement in 1978, worked for more than 16 years as a cafeteria worker at Dean Jr. College.
She was a member of the Franklin Senior Citizens, The American Association of Retired Persons, and was a lifetime communicant of St. Mary’s Church.
Her hobbies and interests included spending time with her great great niece and nephew and crocheting.
She is survived by her niece Angiolina Marano and her Husband Luigi P. of Franklin, with whom she lived, and several generational nieces and nephews in Franklin and Canada.
She was also the sister of the late Ann Galo, Martin Gallo, and Alfred Gallo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Friday at 9:15 AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage Street with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, 1 Church Square, Franklin at 10 AM. Interment will follow in the family lot in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
