Fall River - Helen B. (Dusza) Peckham, 88, of Gifford Road, Westport passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of Francis L. “Frank” Peckham.
Born in Willimantic, CT, a daughter of the late Stanislaw and Victoria (Kapala) Dusza, she had lived in Westport since 1950. Prior to her retirement in 1979 she was owner/operator of the former Peckham’s Garage in Fall River for over 20 years. Prior to owning Peckham’s Garage she worked as a sewing machine operator in area mills.
Survivors include 2 daughters: Frances C. Bailey of Narragansett, RI and Barbara A. Crowther of Little Compton, RI; a sister: Stella A. Los of Westport; 4 grandchildren: Keith D. Bailey, Christine N. Rugg, Cheryl A. Tammaro and Cara L. Oliveira; 6 great grandchildren: Jessica & Jasmine Tammaro, Devin & Kayla Mae Oliveira, Alexander Bailey and Faith Xiaoyan Rugg; and several nieces and nephews.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, March 31, 2007 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.

Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
