WESTPORT - Thomas Costa, 74, of 27 William St., Westport, died Wednesday at his home. He was the Husband of Norma Jean (Wright) Costa. Besides his wife of Westport, he is survived by: His Beloved Pet Dog “Rambo”; One Brother: William Costa of Westport, and One Sister: Hilda Proulx of Fall River; and Several nieces and nephews. He was also brother of many deceased brothers and sisters.
Born in Fall River, the son of the late Manuel Pacheco Costa and the late Mary (Mello) Costa. He was a Westport resident for 41 years. Before retiring, he was a Foreman at Notre Dame Cemetery for over 40 years. He was a U.S.Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St. on Saturday at 7:45 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Grace Church, Sanford Rd., Westport at 9:00 A.M. Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport. Calling hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
