Angelina D. (Laghetto) Medeiros passed away on March 27, 2007 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford at the age of 82. A longtime resident of Malden, Angelina was born and raised in Somerville and was a former employee of the First National Stores in Somerville for 20 years.
The wife of the late Anthony Medeiros Sr., Angelina was the loving mother of Anthony Medeiros and his wife Jean of Malden and the late John Medeiros. She was the dear sister of Marie Laghetto of Medford and the late Josephine Morrissey and Delores Jakubiak. She was the special cousin and dear friend of Catherine Marzeoti of Florida. Angelina was the cherished grandmother of Christine and Brian Medeiros of Malden, Mark, Keith and Jeffrey Medeiros and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived my many nieces and nephews.
The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Friday, March 30th at 8:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 9:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are on Thursday, March 29th from 4-8 p.m. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
