Lakeville- Dorothy R. (Robbins) Farrell, 90, of Lakeville, formerly of Braintree, died Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at Morton Hospital in Taunton. She was the wife of the late Dennis J. Farrell.
Born April 12, 1916, in Kittery, ME, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Cora (Wright) Farrell.
She was raised and educated in Kittery, ME, and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Farrell had been a resident of Lakeville for the past 8 years, coming from Braintree, where she lived for more than 60 years.
She made ceramics for the Union Congregational Church of Braintree and Weymouth.
Mrs. Farrell was a life time member of the Eastern Star in Kittery, ME, and was on a bowling league in Weymouth Landing.
She was the wife of the late Dennis J. Farrell; mother of Patricia Freccero of N. Reading, Diane Ingram of New York, Kenneth Farrell of Whitman, Geraldine Jordan of Whitman, Denise Moss of E. Freetown, Marilyn Ledin of Lakeville and Paula Almeida of Rockland; mother-in-law of Carol Ferrell of E. Bridgewater; sister of Stephen Robbins of New Hampshire. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by 4 grandchildren.
Her Funeral services and burial will be private. Arrangements are by the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater.
