Cynthia L. (Carney) Benoit died Thursday March 22nd in her home.
Born in Weymouth she was the daughter of David Carney of Wareham and the late Anne (Johnson) Carney.
She grew up in Brockton and attended Brockton Schools, living in Norwell for the past 3 years before returning to Brockton.
She worked as a pharmacist assistant in the CVS of Abington.
Cynthia enjoyed walking and spending time with her children.
In addition to her father she is survived by her son Joseph Benoit of Norwell, her sisters Patricia McElaney of East Bridgewater, and Nina Jane Comeau of Brockton, her brothers Alan Kimball and Eric May both of Brockton, and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Sarah Benoit.
Her funeral services will be held Thursday March 29th at 10:00 AM in the Holy Ghost Church, School Street, Whitman. Burial will follow in the St. James Cemetery, Whitman.
