North Andover, Ma – Vito S. LoFaro, 82, a former longtime resident of Woburn, Ma. died Saturday March 24, 2007 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford.
Born in Wakefield, Vito was a graduate of Wakefield High School and most recently resided in North Andover.
For 40 years Mr. LoFaro had been employed with Boston Mutual Insurance Company as an agent, and sales representative before his retirement.
For many years he was the treasurer for the Woburn Elks, and a longtime volunteer at Secure Horizon’s also in Woburn.
Vito was the widower of Beatrice LoFaro and is survived by one son Lance LoFaro of Methuen, one daughter Iris Ann DeCelles, of San Diego, California, 4 grandchildren; Heather LoFaro of Methuen, Brian, David, & Dan DeCelles of Califrornia. one sister Lena Kirmes of Wakefield 2 greatgrandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will take place on Thursday morning at 9 o’clock in Saint Monica’s Church of Methuen with burial to follow in Wood Brook Cemetery in Woburn.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
