Alan W. “Hutch” Hutchinson, 72, died of cancer on Monday, March 12th at the Leesburg Regional Medical Center in Leesburg, Florida. Born in Newton, he married and moved to Needham. Alan served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Alan worked for the Town of Needham and retired from Babson College. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Jean P. (Wixon) formerly of Needham and his two children, Alan Dale Hutchinson of Marlboro and Cathy D. Potter and her husband Andrew Potter of Franklin. He is also survived by his grandchildren Kenneth, Matthew and Joseph Hutchinson, and Jennifer, Nathaniel, Courtney, and Paul "PJ" Harlow.
Memorial Services will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Avenue Needham on Thursday March 29th at 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours prior to the service Thursday 5-7 PM. Interment services will be held at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne on Friday March 30th at 11:15 AM with a reception to follow.
