WORCESTER-Helen C. (Chicoine) Cooper, 81 of Worcester died Friday, March 23rd in UMass Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Howard E. Cooper; a daughter, Nancy A. wife of William D. Trottier of Pearland, TX; a brother, Gerald J. Chicoine of Worcester; a sister, Virginia A. wife of George J. Gavin of Worcester and several nephews, nieces and Godchildren. Two brothers, Gordon F. and Bernard P. Chicoine predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Paul H. and Mildred E. (Stone) Chicoine. Mrs. Cooper was a graduate of Commerce High School. She was employed by Ken Jones Tire, Inc. as an office manager until her retirement. Mrs. Cooper enjoyed traveling, her home, family and friends. She was always willing and ready to give of herself to others.
The funeral is Tuesday, March 27th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 43 Belmont Street. Burial will be in St. Roch’s Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours are Monday, March 26th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
