Marceline A. (Arnihac) McIntire, 95, of Mattapoisett, died Monday, March 19, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Charles F. McIntire.
Born in New York City, the daughter of the late Gaston J. and Anna (Peterson) Arnihac, she lived in upstate New York, Charlotte, NC and Sarasota, FL for several years before moving to Mattapoisett.
She was a member of the Mattapoisett Congregational Church.
Mrs. McIntire was formerly employed as an art teacher for many years until her retirement.
Survivors include a son, Robert Sherman Pearsall, Jr., and his wife Beverly, of Thurmont, MD; two stepsons, David J. McIntire, Sr., and his wife Katharine, and Roderick C. McIntire, all of Mattapoisett; four grandchildren, Robert Sherman Pearsall III, Steven T. Pearsall, Craig R. Bunzey, and Marceline Bunzey Murawski; five step-grandchildren, David McIntire, Jr., Andrew McIntire, Ellen McIntire, Sarah Appleton and Jennifer Hartman; five great-grandchildren; and ten step-great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Suzanne Marie (Pearsall) Bunzey.
Her private Funeral Service was held Friday, March 23rd in the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6), Mattapoisett. Burial followed in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
