Joan L. MacPherson a lifelong Needham resident died on Saturday, March 17 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham. She was 47 years old. Joan was a graduate of Needham High School Class of 1982. She was a resident of Stott House at the Charles River ARC. Joan was an active Special Olympian and involved in the day program AT Charles River. She loved music, social events and especially her family and friends. The loving daughter of the late John K. and Edith (Cousin) MacPherson, she was the dear sister of Jeanne DiBenedetto and her husband Mark of Charlton and Jack MacPherson and his wife Kim of Bainbridge Island, WA. Aunt of Luke and Keith Myoette and Hallie MacPherson as well as many other nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at the Congregational Church of Needham, 1154 Great Plain Avenue Needham on Sunday March 25th at 2:30 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
