Jean M. (Lyon) Corcoran, 57 years, of East Bridgewater died Wednesday morning at her home after battling cancer. Born and raised in Brockton, daughter of the late William F. and Bernice M. (Hutchins) Lyon. Jean attended Brockton schools and was a 1967 graduate of Brockton High School. For the past 36 years she had made her home in East Bridgewater. She had been employed at Lyon’s Auto Parts in Brockton and retired from T. E. Corcoran Company after 20 years. She had also worked as a bartender and hostess at local restaurants. Jean enjoyed quilting, crafts, knitting, skiing, gardening, spending time at her house in Brownsville, VT and trips to Aruba.
She is survived by her husband Thomas E. Corcoran, Jr.; one son Thomas W. Corcoran of Lakeville, one daughter Samantha J. Fritz and her husband John of East Bridgewater and two grandchildren Chase and Sunni Fritz. She was the sister of the late Fred Lyon.
