Hanish, Helen M. (Nemchick) of Plymouth (Manomet) formerly of Duxbury and Hingham lost her battle to cancer and died on March 18th at her home at the age of 62. Helen was born and raised in Eckley, PA and attended Foster Township High School. She was a devoted mother to Elena Hanish-Oyer and her husband Christopher of Rochester, NY. Grandmother to Nathan Scott Oyer of Rochester, NY and sister to Jo-Ann Slank of Weatherly, PA and Audrey Mulhall of PA. Helen was most recently employed at Contravisory Research in Hingham and a member of EWGA (Executive Women’s Golf Assoc). She was an avid golfer and loved the ocean. Family and friends are welcome to gather Saturday, March 24th at 11 o’clock for a Memorial Service at St. Bonaventure’s Church, 803 State Road, Plymouth (Manomet). There are no visiting hours.
