
Mr. Anthony J. Puopolo, age 65 of Medford formerly of Boston´s West End died March 16th following a short illness. He was the beloved husband of Karen M. (Murphy). Born and raised in Boston he was the son of the late Anthony and Frances (Cucinotta) Puopolo.
Mr. Puopolo worked for many years in the insurance industry as a claims manger. He was a life member of the Medford Boat Club and enjoyed being with his family and friends. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Pulmonary Hypertension Assoc., 801 Roeder Rd. Suite 400, Silver Spring, MD 20910.
In addition to his late parents, he is predeceased by his sister Mary “Snookie” Giardina. He is survived by his beloved wife Karen and their children, Adam Puopolo and his fiancée Tracy of Stoneham, Kate Reilly and her husband Stevan of Burlington and Dan Puopolo of Boston. He is also survived by his brother, Carmen Puopolo of Medford, and his sister, Bette Smigliani of Dedham.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
