Walton Adair Smith, 78, of Tifton, died Sunday, March 18, 2007, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Private services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Smith was born on March 3, 1929 in Albany and was the son of Toy R. Smith and Gertrude Prosser Smith, both deceased. He was retired from Florida Power and Light as a cable splicer and was a United States Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors of Mr. Smith include his wife, Gilda Espadas Smith of Guadalajara, Mexico; two daughters; and one brother, William R. Smith of Vestavia Hills, Alabama.
