Jonathan Eugene Bell, 26, of Tifton, died Sunday, March 18, 2007, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at Eldorado Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Sutton and Rev. Eddie Allen will officiate with burial to follow in Eldorado Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ken Moore, Bill Richardson, Shawn Harris, Mitch Abbott, Travis Warren and Mark Norton. Honorary pallbearers will be the Shipping Department at Orgill and Willie Moore, Randall Moore, Darrell Abbott and Kenneth Moore. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 20, 2007, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Bell was born on August 26, 1980 in Shreveport, Louisiana and was the son of Perry Bell, deceased, and Janis Walraven Bell of Tifton. He was a supervisor in the Shipping Department at Orgill and a member of Eldorado Baptist Church. Jon loved fishing with his friends and nephews. He enjoyed his job at Orgill and was well liked by his fellow employees.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Bell is survived by three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Amy and Mike Giddens of Tifton, Christina and Ricky Stewart of Louisiana and Beth Nelson of Texas; and five nephews and six nieces.
