Catherine A. Homer

No. Billerica - Catherine A. Homer, age 65, a member of a well known Tewksbury family, died
Saturday, March 17, at Saints Medical Center in Lowell, after a lengthy illness. She was the wife
of Frank A. Homer, with whom she had celebrated a 40th wedding anniversary this past May 15th.
She was born in Boston, May 30, 1941, a twin daughter of the late Timothy and Josephine
(Shanahan) Cadigan. She was raised in Charlestown, attended the Little Flower School in
Somerville, and the Clarence R. Edwards High School in Charlestown. She lived in Somerville
before moving to North Billerica.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter Joanne Consaul and her fiancé, Edward Jean
both of Lowell; three grandchildren, Kevin, Jacqueline, and Shauna Consaul all of Lowell, two
great grandchildren, Alyssa and Isiah; her twin sister, Joan Ryan and her husband James of
Florida.; sisters Maureen Francis and her husband Phil of Tewksbury, Anne Richards and her
husband Al of Tewksbury; a brother Timothy Cadigan of Maine; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also sister of the late Eileen McGlinchy.
Her funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday, March 21, in St. William’s Church,Tewksbury, followed by burial in Tewksbury Cemetery. Memorials to the Oblate Father’s
Infirmary Fund, P.O. Box 419, Tewksbury, MA 01876 will be appreciated.
