Richard J. Hamilton, 51 years died unexpectedly Friday evening at the Brockton Hospital. Born and raised in Brockton, he was the son of Richard H. and Beverly R. (Gasse) Hamilton of West Bridgewater. Richard was a graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1974. He was currently employed by Mail Computer Services in West Bridgewater where he had worked as a Print Room Operator for the past 12 years. He was a volunteer Assistant Youth Football Coach for the Raynham Giants for three years, enjoyed gardening, landscaping, scuba diving, boating, fishing, cooking, playing cards and was an avid sports fan.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years Teresa “Terry” (Puglia) Hamilton, one son John H. Hamilton, his parents Richard H. and Beverly R. (Gasse) Hamilton of W. Bridgewater, two sisters Debra A. August of W. Bridgewater and Lynne M. Shom of Rockland, 2 nephews and one niece, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
