WEST BOYLSTON
Stavros Fotiadis, 76, of West Boylston, passed on Sun., March 18 in UMASS Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Kiriaki (Zahariadis) Fotiadis and five children; Kyriakos and his wife Hariklia Fotiadis of Shrewsbury, Dimitrios Fotiadis of Worcester, Savvas and his wife Janet Fotiadis of Shrewsbury, Antonios Fotiadis of West Boylston and daughter, Katerina, and her husband Ronald Rajotte of Worcester. Stavros has also left his eleven loving grandchildren. Two sisters, Eleni Aidonidis of Boston and Anastasia Kiriazidis of Greece and a brother, Akilas Fotiadis of Greece. In 2006, he was predeceased by his grandson Panagiotis “Peter” Fotiadis. He was born in Katerini, Greece, son of Kiriakos and Alexandra (Kotasidis) Fotiadis and came to the United States in 1974.
Stavros worked for the family businesses, the Manor Restaurant for several years before retiring and Dean Park Pizza in Shrewsbury from 1987 to 1997. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and dedicated his life to his family and the family business. He was a member of Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
The funeral will be held Wed., March 21, from Callahan & Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St, Worcester with a funeral service at 10 AM in Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell St. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Worcester. Visiting Hours are Tues., March 20, from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
