Obituary

Worcester – Victor R. Dillaire, 84, of Worcester died on Friday March 16 at home after being stricken ill.

Mr. Dillaire’s wife Rita (Cross) Dillaire died in 1981. He is survived by two daughters Paula L. Dillaire-Stephens of Worcester and her husband Randal and Claudia R. Dillaire of Mesa, AZ; a brother Paul R. Dillaire of South Dennis, MA; a sister Dora Langlois of Bradenton, FL and several nephews and nieces. Mr. Dillaire was was born in Worcester son of Alfred M. and Ida (Donais) Dillaire and is predeceased by a brother Alfred Dillaire and a sister Emma Belanger.

Mr. Dillaire is a veteran of the United States Air Force and served in the 332nd Signal Company Wing, 9th AAF during World War II.

He worked at Wyman Gordon Co. for 38 years as an aluminum forge grinder and retired in 1985 and was a member of Saint Stephen’s Church.

The funeral will be held on Friday, March 23 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a mass at 11:30 AM in St. Stephen’s Church 357 Grafton St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are on Thursday March 22, from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
