Hartley, William P. Sr., of Dorchester formerly of New Bedford, March 15, 2007. Beloved husband of the late Mary W. (Jordan) Hartley. Loving father of William P. Jr., and his wife Jeanne of Milton, Dennis F. and his wife Patricia of Marshfield, Lt. Paul, MA State Police and his wife Julia of Duxbury, Michael of Plymouth, Thomas of Weymouth, Debra of Weymouth, Mary and her husband Jack McDonough of Milton, Karen of Dorchester, Ann and her husband Steve Copp of Birdsboro, PA and the late Janet Bergeron and Francis Hartley. Devoted brother of Richard and Harold Hartley both of Long Island, NY, Irene Donovan and Marie Quilty both of Newfoundland and the late James and Leonard Hartley. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visiting hours in the John J. O’Connor & Son Funeral Home 740 Adams St. (near Gallivan Blvd) DORCHESTER on Sunday from 2-6pm. Memorial Mass in St. Mark’s Church, DORCHESTER Monday morning at 10 o’clock. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Interment will be private.
