Marie Louise Hayes Carroll, 62, of Douglas, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at Saint Joseph's Candler South Hospital in Savannah. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2007, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Ricky Revels will officiate with a eulogy given by Dale Hayes. Burial will follow in Pineview Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery. Jimmy Young, Brandon Young, James Martin, Randy Lightsey, Jamie Harting and Mitchell Strawbridge will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be James Vickers, Jeremy Jordan, Shannon Thurman and Kevin Randall. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 16, 2007, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ms. Carroll was born on February 28, 1945 in Tift County and was the daughter of Arlie Hayes and Louise Revels Hayes, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by one daughter. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Ms. Carroll is survived by her husband, Wayne Carroll of Douglas; two sons, Tracy Carroll of Tifton and Milton Hester of Tifton; one daughter, Stacy Young of Wray; one brother, Billy Hayes of Tifton; one sister, Ellen Hayes of Tifton; several grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
