Geraldine A. “Gerry” Carnes, 57 of Medford, died Monday after a long illness at home.
Born in Somerville, MA, she was the daughter of the late Mary P. (Forrastall) and Thomas J. Lally Sr. Geraldine was a Meat Wrapper, at the former First National Super Market in West Medford for 16 years.
Beloved wife of Edward R. Carnes Sr. Devoted mother of Edward R. Carnes Jr. of Gilbert, AZ, Christine Carnes of Medford. Loving grandmother of Thomas Jack Carnes of AZ. Sister of Thomas Lally Jr. of Medford, Mary P. McGovern of Lowell, James Lally of Lynn, Eileen Natale, Donna Lally both of Woburn, Jenne Brann of Florida, David Lally of Tyngsboro, and the late Mona Vail, Paul and Michael Lally. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 9 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Thursday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
