Obituary

Charles E. Gauthier,59, of 23 Gates Rd., died Thursday, March 8
as the result of injuries suffered in a two car accident on Rte. 290, near
Burncoat St. in Worcester.
He leaves his fiancé and companion of 20 years, Caroline C. MacDuffie with
whom he lived, two sisters Anne Marie Poirier of Worcester, and Mary Ellen
Dupuis and her husband Paul of Sturbridge, several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Gauthier, was a graduate of Worcester Junior College and attended
Quinsigamond Community College. He was employed by Pegasus Satellite and
Securitas Security in Westborough.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of Ernest and Rita (Menard) Gauthier.
He was a dedicated worker to all of his employers. Mr. Gauthier loved to
read, view old movies,computers and was an avid photographer. To meet and
know "Charlie", was to know true goodness. The heart of "Charlie" was one of
true innocence and exemplified all his greatest attributes.
A humble man, "Charlie" would take the lowest seat and relish what he was
doing, never complaining. A token of love is all "Charlie" would leave in
the company of others. He went day to day unflustered by the world he saw.
All of his qualities made him shine and be a beacon of light wherever he may
pass. He is now in Heaven with his Maker who is true Divinity itself.
"Charlie" will be missed dearly by his fiancé, sisters, nieces and nephews
and friends.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, March 15 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON
FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of
the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Following cremation, burial of his
ashes will be held at a later date in Mary,Queen of the Rosary Cemetery,
Spencer. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 14 from 5 to 7p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Salvation Army, 72
Cambridge St., Worcester,Ma. 01603.
