Rita L. (Marino) Beaupre, a 13 year resident of Somerville and formerly of Charlestown and Connecticut, died suddenly at her home in Somerville on Saturday, March 10, 2007. She was 58 years old.
Rita was born in Malden on March 20, 1948. She grew up in Charlestown, where she attended Boston Public Schools and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1967. Rita married her husband Armand E. Beaupre, then A U.S. Marine and moved to Connecticut. Rita experienced the worst tragedy in a parents life when in 1975 a fire broke out in their home and she lost 3 of her 5 children in the fire. Rita has been working for Rosev. Brothers of Medford, a dairy company, as an office manager for the last 21 years.
Rita is the beloved wife of the late Armand E. Beaupre. She is the devoted mother of Jimmy J. Beaupre and his wife Jo-Ann of Everett, Annette Goodwin and her husband Michael of East Bridgewater and the late Kimberly, Marie and Roger Beaupre. She is the loving grandmother of Quinton and Matthew Beaupre. She is the beloved sister of Annette White of Florida, Barbara Owens, Julie Quinn and Catherine Purnell all of Charlestown, Edward Marino Jr. of Peabody, Michael Marino of Holliston and the late Louis Marino. She is also the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Rita's Funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at 9 a.m. from the Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill Street, Charlestown, followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Catherine's Church, 49 Vine Street, Charlestown, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours for Rita will be held on Tuesday March 13, 2007, from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
