Annette A. (Chaloux) Marquis, 88, of Hooksett died March 10, 2007 at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester.
Born in Pittsburg on December 22, 1918, she was the daughter of Charles and Victoria (Benoit) Chaloux. She grew up in Pittsburg and lived many years in Colebrook before moving to Hooksett in 1965.
She was married to Alfred Marquis who died in 1976.
The family includes ten daughters, Mariette Biron of Homasassa, FL, Solange Simpson of Hernando Beach, FL, Lisette Fauteux and Jacqueline Preve both of Epsom, Cecile Marquis of Hernando Beach, FL, Claire Hadley of Hooksett, Marthe Stavrou of Auburn, Giselle Marquis of Newton, MA, Diane Casey of Hooksett and Rita Robie of Candia; three sons, Fernand Marquis and Roger Marquis both of Deerfield, and Leo Marquis of Candia; 30 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren: a sister, Yvonne Marquis of Florida and cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday March 13, 2007 at St. Catherine Church, corner of Webster and Hemlock streets, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
