Madeline C. Donnelly, 93 of Haverhill, MA, died Sunday, March 11, 2007 under hospice care at the Baker-Katz Nursing Facility following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Donnelly was born in East Boston, MA on October 3, 1913, a daughter of the late Anthony and Christine (Ferriera) Perry. She was a former resident of North Revere, MA and Derry, NH.
She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Thomas Donnelly in 1983, her parents and her brother, William Perry. Her family members include two sons, Thomas Donnelly and his wife Elizabeth of Manchester, NH, Kenneth Donnelly of Raymond, NH, two daughters, Madeline Roberts and her husband Joseph of Jacksonville, FL, Carolyn Edwards and her husband Joseph of Haverhill, MA, 13 grandchildren, Cathleen, Thomas, Lauren, Brian, Michael, Megan, Richard, Mary Beth, Laura, Colleen, Kevin, Eric and Steven, 16 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her love and devotion to family, and her love of music, playing the piano and gardening.
Visiting hours were held from 6-8pm, Tuesday, March 13th in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, March 14th at 10:00am in St. Mark’s Church, corner of South Rd. and Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. The burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations may be made in her name to Allegiance Hospice, 67 Middle St., Suite 503, Lowell, MA 01852.
