Obituary

Millbury – George A. Mallett Jr., 66, died on Saturday March 10 after an illness.

Mr. Mallett is survived by 8 daughters Christine Mallett, Susan Mallet, Terrylee Smith and Jacklyn Mallett all of Worcester, Tina Brokaw of Winter Haven, FL, Patricia LaPierre of Millbury, Debra Higbie of Webster and Felicia Mallett of Oxford; his mother Dorothy (Tebo) Mallett of Worcester; six brothers Edward, Francis, Raymond, Donald and Anthony all of Worcester and Thomas Mallett of Maine; three sisters Viola Rodriguez, Louise Gilbert and Linda Booker all of Worcester; 15 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. Mr. Mallett is predeceased by a son George A. Mallett III and a brother Albert Mallett.

Mr. Mallett was born in Worcester son of George Mallett Sr. and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

He was a general contractor and enjoyed playing both pool and darts.

A committal service will be held on Wednesday March 14 at 11 AM in St. John’s Mausoleum 352 Cambridge St. Worcester. Calling hours are on Tuesday March 13, from 5 to 7 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester.
