Zulmira (Lobo) Gomes, 89, of New Bedford died Saturday March 10, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Brava, Cape Verde, the daughter of the late Antonio B. and Maria (Burgo) Lobo, she lived in New Bedford for the past 35 years.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church.
Survivors include a sister, Paula Anacleto of New Bedford; her godson, Antonio J. Lobo of New Bedford; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Joseph, Joao, and Manuel Lobo.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 9 AM in Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
