Elizabeth (Ryan) Moniz. Age 83. Widow of Joseph Moniz. Residence 34 Whipple St., Fall River, MA. Died Tuesday at St. Anne’s Hospital in Fall River. Born in Fall River, MA. Daughter of the late Andrew Ryan and the late Bridget (Cantwell) Ryan. She was a lifelong resident of Fall River. She was a Homemaker and she was a member of St. Joseph Church.
She is survived by Two Sons: John Moniz of Attleboro, MA & Benny Moniz of Fall River, MA. Two Daughters: Betsy Correia of Fall River, MA & Marilyn Taber of Fall River, MA. Fifteen Grandchildren & Ten Great Grandchildren & several nieces and nephews. She was Mother of the late James, Paul and Leonard Moniz and Judith Weatherread and Sister of the late Ada Ryan.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Monday at 11:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church, N. Main St., Fall River at 12:00 Noon. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours Sunday 5-8 P.M
