Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 8:30am. Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Our Savior, Westgate Drive, Brockton at 9:30am. Visiting Hours Friday 5-8pm. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.

Margaret (Mareb) Martin, 92 years died unexpectedly Tuesday at Brockton Hospital. Born in Brockton the daughter of the late Bolus A. and Annie (Corey) Mareb, she had been a resident with the exception of 22 years when she resided in Cranston, RI. Margaret was a graduate of Sacred Heart School. She had been employed as a waitress for many years at Anthony’s Pier 4 Restaurant in Boston, and retired from her cousin Obie Mareb’s restaurant, The Pub in Brockton. For many years she was active in the functions at the Chapel of Our Savior, Westgate Dr., and had been a longtime communicant of St. Theresa Maronite Catholic Church.
She is survived by five nieces and nephews, Paula M. Durfee of Pocasset, Dennis L. Mareb of Great Barrington, Fredrick P. Mareb of Sandown, NH, Margaret A. Morgan of Falmouth, Edward A. Mareb of Centerville and ten great nieces and nephews.
She was the wife of the late Frederick A. Martin and sister of the late N. Paul Mareb, Minerva Mareb, Albert J. Mareb and Peter Mareb and aunt of the late Paul F. Mareb.
