Obituary

Worcester—Albert C. Suklis, 90, formerly of King Philip Road, died Tuesday, March 6, 2007. He was born in Worcester, son of Stephen and Anna (Baleckiute) Suklis. He graduated from Commerce High and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He worked for the City of Worcester in Progress Administration as a WPA Coordinator. He retired from Wyman-Gordon Co. in 1979 after 38 years of service. He attended Salem Covenant Church for many years. He leaves a stepson, John R. Allen of Ossipee, NH and two step-granddaughters, Tracy and Maribeth Allen of Belmont. He was predeceased by his first wife, Ruth (Lundberg) Suklis in 1986 and his second wife, Helen (Bjorklund) Suklis in 2005.

A memorial service will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street Friday, March 9, 10:00 a.m. Following cremation, burial will be at the convenience of the family in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
