Patricia A.(Trundy) Doucet, 82, of Norton died on Tuesday March 6, 2007 with her family by her side at the Caritas Norwood Hospital in Norwood, MA. She was the wife of Leonard A. Doucet.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island on March 12, 1924 she was a daughter of the late Harry and Florence (Leonard) Trundy.
She grew up in Providence and was educated in Providence schools. Mrs. Doucet faithfully served her family as a devoted homemaker. She had also worked at the former Milady’s in Attleboro, the former Old Colony Florist Shop in Norton and at Texas Instruments in Attleboro.
Pat enjoyed cooking, baking, trips to Cape Cod and camping. She especially enjoyed the times spent with her grandchildren and her newborn great grandsons. She had lived in Norton for the past 60 years.
Besides her husband she is survived by her children Susan P. Hallahan and her husband Ted of Norton, Dennis E. Peabody of Mansfield, Joan F. Kirylo of Attleboro and Lisa L. Azeni and her husband Hocine of Wenham. She was the sister of Barbara Anderson and her husband David of Marion and the late Benson Trundy. Also surviving are her grandchildren Michael LaCroix and his wife Kimberly of North Dighton, Stephanie Howe and her husband Tim of Oakham and Ashor Azeni and Brahim Azeni both of Wenham. Her great grandsons: Bruce LaCroix and Cameron Howe and also several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Saturday March 10th beginning at 2:00 P.M. at the home of Susan and Edward Hallahan in Norton.
