LAWRENCE – Daniel C. Lima age 93 died Sunday March 4, 2007 at Lawrence General Hospital.
Born and educated in Lawrence, MA, he moved to the Azores as a child, returning with his family at 12 years old. During World War II he served in the U.S. Army Medical Corp., stationed at Dow field in Bangor, Maine. For 20 years he worked at the Woolen Mill in Lawrence and 24 years with the Arlington Trust Company, and Shawmut Bank before retiring. He was a member of the Portuguese American Civic League. He also enjoyed woodworking.
The widower of Lucy J. (Campisi) Lima, he is survived by 2 sons, Richard D. of Kissimmee, Florida and David D. Lima of Lawrence, MA.
1 brother Joseph Lima, Salem, NH
Several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 1:00p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in St. Mary Mausoleum in Lawrence, MA.
