Kathleen E. (Roche) Wood of New Bedford died Saturday March 3, 2007.
Born in Marlborough, the daughter of the late Francis J. and Catherine (Kehoe) Roche, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.
Mrs. Wood had a career in the local retail workforce. She also provided eldercare and childcare to area families for many years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, antiquing, and shopping.
Survivors include two sons, Paul S. Wood and his wife Valerie of Pearl River, NY, and Owen Peter Wood and his wife Kelli of Fort Myers, FL; her daughter-in-law, Victoria Wood-Crapo of New Bedford; a brother, David Roche of Bridgeport, CT; four sisters, Caroline Robinson, Anne Mahoney, and Martha Berger, all of New Bedford, and Ellen Sylvia of Rochester; seven grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
