Gloria Gene Howard age 66, of Water Valley, MS died at her home on Friday, March 2, 2007 following a lengthy illness. The wife of Paul Howard, Gloria and Paul were able to celebrate their 26th anniversary on February 28, 2007. She was a homemaker and member of the Eastern Star Chapter #5 of Water Valley.
Visitation will be held at Seven Oaks Funeral Home on Sunday, March 4, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home at 2:00 PM, Monday March 5, 2007 with Reverend Raymond Aven officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery with Gilbert Taylor, Robert Partain, Curtis Petit, Bud McCluskey, Larry Black and Michael Blevins serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers are Carl Lewis and B. J. Chinault.
Survivors include her husband of twenty-six years, William Paul Howard, Sr of Water Valley, MS; daughter, Elizabeth Cooper of Hamilton, AL; step-daughter Paula Hall of Kelly, LA; sons, Johnny Chinault,Jr of Oxford, MS and William (Bo) Chinault of Water Valley, MS; step-sons, William P. Howard, Jr and Oscar Howard both of Winnsboro, LA; sisters, Katie Partain of Oakland, MS, Barbara Blevins of Crystal Beach, TX, Kathy Petit of Ama, LA, Linda Hinkle of Kings Mountain, KY and Becky Black of Houston, MS.
Preceding Gloria in death were her first husband, Johnny Bruce Chinault, Sr; sons, Jimmy L. Chinault and Michael W. Chinault; parents, L.D. Chambles, Sr and Linder Mae Tubbs Chambless; 2 sisters, Ruthie Cook and Janice Taylor and 1 brother, L. D. Chambless, Jr.
