WEST PALM BEACH, FL-John “Jack” Stavros Jr., 57, of Plymouth and West Palm Beach, died Saturday, February 10th at the Hospice of Palm Beach after a long illness. His mother Genevieve (Cosenza) Stavros died in 1978. He is survived by his dear friend and long time companion Marilyn Cleary; a daughter Christina Debs, and grandsons Zachary and Andrew; his father John Stavros, Sr. and his wife Wanda; 2 brothers Richard Stavros of Medford and David Stavros of North Easton; 3 sisters, Tina Freeman of Charlton, Mary Ann Lanning of Boynton Beach and Elizabeth Lynch of Auburn; 3 step-brothers Thomas and Robert Lamarche both of Worcester and Richard Lamarche of Holden; and a step-sister Dianne Lorion of Charlton; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Mr. Stavros was a restaurant owner for many years. He was kind and generous and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 10th in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St. Ann Church, 44 Mulberry Street, Worcester. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407 or to the charity of ones choice.
