LOWELL-Stella T. (Mucha) Buia, 87, a life long resident of Lowell, died Tuesday, February 27th in D'Youville Senior Care Center after an illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Buia.
She was born in Lowell on December 28, 1919 a daughter of the late Kazimier and the late Mary (Kowal) Mucha. She graduated from Lowell High School.
Mrs. Buia was employed by the Internal Revenue Service in Andover where she worked as a financial programer for over 20 years, until retiring.
She is survived by her son, Stephen A. Buia and his wife Rosemary S. Buia of Hampton, NH; two grandchildren, Christopher A. Buia of York, PA and Stephanie A. Buia of Brighton, MA; two great grandchildren, Cameron W. Buia and Ainsley G. Buia; several nephews and nieces.
She was also the sister of the late Genevieve Schmitz, the late Lillian Nowak and the late Joseph Mucha.
Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT on Friday from 9:00 until 11:00 AM followed by a funeral home service at 11:00 AM.
