WORCESTER____Edward P. Lambert, 73, formerly of 93 Ingleside Ave., died Saturday October 26 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center - Memorial Campus, 119 Belmont St.
He leaves his wife of 53 years, Jeannette M. (Perra) Lambert; two sons, Paul J. Lambert of Leicester and Gary E. Lambert of Spencer; a brother, Ronald Lambert of Dudley; a sister, Joyce Reidl of Albuquerque, New Mexico; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by three brothers, Eugene Lambert, Alfred Lambert and Frederick Lambert and by two sisters, Yvette Lambert and Gloria Lebel. He was born in Worcester, son of Athanasius and Celina (Lamoureux) Lambert and lived here all his life.
Mr. Lambert was a construction worker many years for several local companies including Wyman - Gordon Co., and Wright Line. He retired several years ago.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Mr. Lambert was a member of Notre Dame - St. Josephs Parish and Vernon Hill Post American Legion. He was an avid sportsmen and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
The funeral will be held on Thursday October 31, from Dirsa-Morin Funeral Home, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Josephs Church, 35 Hamilton St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours in the funeral home are Wednesday October 30, from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Josephs Church Renovation Fund, 5 Whitman Rd., Worcester, 01609.
