Pauline M. (Friel) Bibber, 82, of Londonderry, NH, died Monday, February 26, 2007 in the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. Pauline was born in Boston, MA on July 17, 1924, a daughter of the late William J. and Rita (Shanahan) Friel. She married Edward F. Bibber on June 30, 1946 at St. Mary’s Church in Charlestown, MA. She lived in E. Boston after her marriage, moving to Londonderry in 1970.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Edward F. Bibber of Londonderry; two daughters, Paula Bowers of Sunapee, NH, and Sharon Merrill of Auburn, NH; three grandchildren, Cheryl Drake of New Hampton, NH, Kerri Clay of Groveton, NH, and Bobby Merrill of Auburn; three great-grandchildren, Kyle and Connor Drake both of New Hampton, and Matthew Clay of Groveton. She was predeceased by a brother William Friel Jr., and three sisters, Rita Flaherty, Ruth Doherty and Louise White.
Friends called on Thursday, March 1st from 6 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday at 10:00am in St. Mark's Church, corner of Mammoth Rd. and South Rd., Londonderry. The burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry.
