Ella A. Harter, 81, of Mulberry Circle, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, died Friday at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of Donald J. Harter. They were married for over 60 years.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Francisco and Daria (Attella) Corsi, she had been a resident of Johnston since 1974.
She was a member of the Secular Franciscan Order St. Clare of Assisi Fraternity, and the St. Ann Sodality.
Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters Susan J. Bressette and her husband Frank and Kathleen A. DellaTorre and her husband, John, both of Johnston, and four grandchildren Donald J. and Bethany F. Bressette, Kristen E. and Kerry E. DellaTorre. She was the sister of the late Lina Pupolo, Mary Adams, and Ralph and Americo Corsi.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:30am from the *ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Anthony’s Church, Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial in St. Ann’s Cemetery. Visitation Monday 4-7 pm.
