Mildred Marjorie Harris Mobley, 61, of Tifton died Saturday, February 24, 2007, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2007, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Glenn Ford and Rev. Joe W. Dukes will officiate with burial to follow in Lawrence Cemetery. Daniel Mobley, Janice Mobley, Buck Gray, Michael Gray, Tabitha Gray and Ryan Lupo will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 26, 2007, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ms. Mobley was born on September 13, 1945 in Tifton and was the daughter of James Daniel Harris and Ruby Ellen Ray Harris, both deceased. She was a retired clerk and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Tifton. She had lived in Tifton for 39 years.
Ms. Mobley is survived by her husband, James Allen Mobley of Tifton; one son, James Kenneth Mobley of Tifton; one daughter, Rita-Kay Marie Gray of Tifton; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James Austin and Mary E. Harris of Ocilla and Ricky Austin and Nannette E. Harris of Ashburn; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Mary Frances Harris of Omega, Joyce Feen and R. H. Warren of Nashville, and Mayor Marie and Roger D. Stephens of Lenox; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
