
Robert M. Goguen, 56, of 63 Valley View Drive, Cumberland, Rhode Island, and a former longtime Franklin resident, died suddenly Wednesday, February 21, 2007, at his home.
Born in Milford, September 29, 1950, a son of Christiane Y. (LePollozec) Goguen and the late Robert Goguen, he lived in Franklin for most of his life, and had been a Cumberland resident for 2 years.
He was raised and educated in Franklin, and was a 1968 graduate of Franklin High School. Until his retirement several years ago due to illness, he had been employed as a planner for the Bayer Corp. in Walpole for over 30 years.
He enjoyed model boat building, fishing and was also a hockey coach.
Surviving in addition to his mother Christiane Y. Goguen of Glastonbury, Connecticut are 3 sons: Michael A. Goguen, Jason R. Goguen and Marc A. Goguen all of Franklin, and a sister Janet Y. Jewett of Glastonbury, Connecticut.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service Saturday at 1 PM in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage Street, Following cremation, burial will take place in Union Street Cemetery, Franklin.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 noon to 1 PM.
