WORCESTER-Doris V. (Bugely) Warfield, 86, of Worcester died Wednesday, February 21st in the Meadows of Leicester. Her husband of 9 years, William T. Warfield died in 1959. She is survived by a son, Robert C. and his wife Sandra R Warfield. of Sutton; 2 daughters, Claire L. Cormier of Leicester and Carol D., wife of Stephen P. Paradise of Oakham; 10 grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Two sons, Ronald A. and Steven E. Warfield and 3 brothers and 3 sisters predeceased her.
She was born in Amherst, Nova Scotia the daughter of Arthur L. and Ethel (Percival) Bugely. Mrs. Warfield was employed by R.J. McDonald Plumbing and Heating for over 25 years as an office manager before her retirement in 1985 and had also worked part time at the Salvation Army in Worcester. She was a member of Pleasant Street Baptist Church and a former volunteer for the Worcester Community Action Council.
The funeral is Saturday, February 24th with a service at 10:00 AM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, February 23rd from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
