Barre, VT—Isobel D. (Lawson) Reid McCullough, 92, formerly of Worcester, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2007. She was the widow of John Reid (1966) and William T. McCullough (1993). She leaves three daughters and two sons-in-law, Margaret and Bruce Kiniry of S. Barre, VT; Bonnie and Jack Talbot of Minden, NV; and Lillian Reid, also of Minden, NV; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of Charles R. K. and Elizabeth (Miller) Lawson. She was a graduate of Commerce High. She was a group actuarial clerk at State Mutual, retiring in 1974. Isobel was a life-time member, of the First Presbyterian Church of Worcester, its Ruth Circle, the Organization of Presbyterian Women, a Deacon, an Elder, and she operated the Church Nursery for many years.
Funeral Services will be held at First Presbyterian Church on Saturday, Feb. 24, at 10:30 a.m. Burial in Rural Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held at NORDGREN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA Friday, Feb. 23, from 5-8 p.m. Contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to First Presbyterian Church, 125 Holden Street, Worcester, MA 01606.
