Helen E. (Barnatowicz) Bourbeau 96 of Franklin died February 21 in Beth Israel Daconess Hospital in Boston following a fall in her home. She was the wife of the late William J. Bourbeau who died in 1990.
Born in Norfolk, September 7,1910, the daughter of the late Alphonso and Josephine (Bougeshefski) Barnatowicz, Mrs. Bourbeau had been a resident of Franklin since 1927.
A homemaker, she was a former member of St. Mary’s Catholic Women’s club.
She was a charter member of the Stony Brook Camera Club and enjoyed taking pictures, gardening and traveling.
She is survived by her daughter Elaine Bourbeau of West Hartford, CT.
She was the sister of the late Victoria Baird.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, February 26 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (ww.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) at 8:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church at 9:00.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Sunday from 4-6 p.m.
